Metaphors have a way of holding a ton of truth in just a few words. This is of course a metaphor for: 'it holds more information than you can see at first sight'.

You could see the image. That is because we are continuously using metaphors in our daily lives. 

 

Metaphors are built up by images that relate to one another, and it is in these relationships that important patterns of behaviour, feelings and thoughts are visualized.
